[cid:image003.jpg@01D4CD05.3FB7D5D0]Good afternoon! Mentoring@Purdue has many exciting events coming up. Be sure to mark your calendars! Our February Workshop, Supporting Our LGBTQ+ Students: The Value of Conscious Mentoring, is scheduled for THIS Wednesday, Feb. 27th 12-1pm in PFEN 241. Discrimination, hostile working environment, and microaggressions are just a few of the obstacles that LGBTQ+ students encounter on a college campus. How can mentors support their students? What do faculty and peers need to understand to better support students in the LGBTQ+ community? Join us as we have our panel of experts answer some of these questions and give us a better understanding of how to be a conscious mentor. If you are unable to attend in person, please join us via webex: https://purdue.webex.com/meet/alexan42 For our 6th Annual Invited Lecture Series, M@P is pleased to introduce Dr. Stacy Blake-Beard!
