Dear Colleagues,
*Building effective professional networks* have become increasingly important to accelerate one’s success in their profession whether in academia, industry, or other organizations. Many students and professionals have yet to learn how to go about building their professional networks effectively. To fill this void, the Nanotechnology Student Advisory Council (NSAC), Purdue chapter of Optical Society of America (OSA) and Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) are organizing a full day *workshop series on professional development* and *Keynote on Nov 30, 2016* featuring talks by *Alaina Levine*, author of award-winning book: Networking for Nerds. Please see details of the workshop topics and agenda attached. A description of the workshop topics is also attached.
