[NSAC] COVID Testing Birck Requirements Guidance
Hello all, Thanks to Ron Reger we now have clear guidance on the procedures regarding COVID test results and continuing work in Birck. Graduate students are sorted into two categories. 1. Students* just arriving back to campus* are *required* to have a *negative COVID test* result *before attending any classes or working in buildings. * This pertains to both grad students and undergrads. 2. Students who have *already been working* in Purdue buildings this summer are *required to have a COVID test,* but *they can continue working in the building without test results as long as they meet these two criteria:* 1. *They are not exhibiting any symptoms* 2. *They haven’t been in contact with anyone who has COVID.* As noted everyone in Birck must have a negative COVID test so please do not procrastinate on getting that done. If you have not gotten the email from Purdue regarding the at home test please email protectpurdue@purdue.edu to get it. Alternatively, there is on campus testing at the TRec (across from the COREC), and they are open from 8am till 5pm during the week. Alternative testing information can be found here: https://www.purdue.edu/hr/COVID-19/pphc/testtrace.php As always stay safe, follow the protocols, and good luck! Sincerely, -Sam Peana
