NSAC Coffee Hour Story Telling Special Event - Friday 2 pm @ Birck First Floor Atrium
Hi fellow researchers! Please join us at NSAC Coffee Hour this Friday 2-2:30pm in the BRK atrium! This special event will be another installment of Science Storytelling. Our guest speaker is Kayla Young, Ph.D. candidate in Political Science, who will describe how transformative metaphors are an essential element in telling our data story. We will also get a chance to test drive the ideas: last week’s attendees were asked to come up with a metaphor the applies to their research, and we will give them a chance to try these out this week in a 5 minute “elevator pitch” which can be just orally presented or aided by 1-2 slides. We will provide snacks and coffee that are individually packed. We look forward to meeting you! Warmest regards, NSAC
Remind you guys that the coffee hour will start at 2pm today.
