Dear Birck Students and Postdocs,

SkyWater Technology is a semiconductor engineering and fabrication foundry, which is the only US-owned pure-play silicon foundry. Skywater Principal Engineer, Dr. Robert Wortman is coming to Birck Center for recruiting on Feb. 9, between 3-5pm at BRK 1001. Please come to meet him if you are interested in exploring employment opportunities with Skywater.

They currently have multiple spots open:

1. Advanced Technology Services (ATS) Department. For ATS, USA citizenship is required due to the nature of the work. Looking for Masters/Ph.D.s to do development work with customers to move ideas to production.
2. They have projects in quantum computing (we manufacture for D-Wave), silicon photonics, and advanced devices and packaging.
3. They also have openings (internships/full time) on the production side for all levels (BS-Ph.D.). They’d like anyone with an interest/experience in fab from MSE/EE or similar fields.
