On a sad note, Melissa Lane, our secretary who sits in at the desk in the Atrium, lost her brother-in-law, Cecil Bowen, over the weekend, unexpectedly — he was in his early 60s.  He and Melissa’s sister have been married for 44 years.  I’ll be glad to share the funeral home information when we get it (he is in Colorado).

Melissa is under a great deal of stress these days and I know that she would appreciate cards.  I am happy to provide a card and take a collection to help cover her travel expenses, if you would like to contribute.  Other personal acts of kindness will be appreciated, I’m sure.

Please remember Melissa, her sister, and their entire family during the coming days and holidays.
