The review also provides an excellent opportunity for your students to gain and develop presentation skills. AGENDA 9:30, REGISTRATION (MRGN 121): Meet-and-greet 10:00, INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW: Jim Cooper, Interim Director 10:30, INDUSTRIAL ENGAGEMENT: Monica Allain, BNC Managing Director 2009 review of BNC external engagement. How to engage with BNC faculty, scientist & students. BNC Industrial Affiliates program. 11:15, INDUSTRIAL PRESENTATION: Nanovis Experience with Discovery Park and industrial collaboration. 12:00, POSTER SESSION (BRK Atrium): BNC students & Research Engineers Box lunches will be provided for all external guests (excluding BNC Resident Faculty, Staff, and Students). Tour(s) will be conducted. Video highlight: graduating students. 2:00, FACULTY PRESENTATIONS (MRGN 121): Professors Eric Stach (MatE), Dimitrios Peroulis (ECE), Alejandro Strachan (ME), Jenna Rickus (ABE), and Robert Moon (MatE) 4:25, CLOSING: Jim Cooper award presentations ATTENTION BIRCK FACULTY (1) Please encourage your student to prepare a POSTER on their work. Posters are due by Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Visit nano.purdue.edu for details pizza will be provided for presenters in BRK 1001 immediately following the research review. (2) GRADUATING students will be highlighted at the Review in a video to be shown in the Birck Atrium. If your student is graduating by December 2010, please have them register at nano.purdue.edu by April 4, 2010 to be included in the video. (3) Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to register at nano.purdue.edu (it’s free!) and attend as many of the sessions as possible.
