Dear BNC faculty,

    Professor Yong Chen is organizing a faculty delegation from Purdue to visit Argonne’s Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM: http://nano.anl.gov/ ).  The 1-day visit will be scheduled during the week of Jan 4-8, 2010.

The purposes of the trip are to:

1) tour CNM user facilities

2) meet group leaders from various CNM research thrusts to explore possible future research collaboration (including pursuing joint funding).

3) discuss a planned Purdue-ANL nanoworkshop in the near future

Any faculty member interested in attending this trip should email Melissa Marris (lanem@purdue.edu) Monica Allain (mallain@purdue.edu) , and indicate their available dates during the week of Jan 4-8.
