Thank you for letting me know, I had no idea that was going on. And thank you reminding them of the rules on face masks, every user should have a mask on under the standard ISO 7 cleanroom veil (or be wearing an M3 mask), the ISO 7 veils are not sufficient
to block droplets.
My understanding (Ron is copied, he can correct me if I'm mistaken) is that there should be no close quarters group activity like that whatsoever among users. Training is allowed one on one, with it recommended that both participants have face shields, and
is absolutely required that at least one participant does (whoever is doing the most talking). The enhanced PPE (face shield) requirement is a university requirement for any time spent indoors <6 feet from another person for >15 minutes (with all participants
masked). The one on one limitation is an extra safety precaution we've chosen to take at Birck. With the one on one limitation and the airflow in the cleanroom, we received a slightly relaxed requirement from REM on enhanced PPE such that in a one on one training
session in the cleanroom, the participant doing minimal speaking may go without a face shield, but is still encouraged to wear one.
Thanks,
Justin
