We are pleased to announce that the
Research Instrumentation Program is now open for the 2021-22 academic year. The
program is jointly sponsored by the Offices of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships and the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Diversity.
The 2021-22 Purdue Research Instrumentation Program will provide up to $1.5 million in funding for state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure that is needed
to conduct world-class research at a top-tier AAU research university. The instruments are also expected to contribute substantially to the research training of the graduate and undergraduate students who will become the next generation of talent that advance
the frontiers of discovery and creative expression. A proposal to this program may request up to $100,000
in one-time funding for the acquisition and installation of a research instrument in a Purdue research laboratory. The instrument may have total costs of up to $200,000 including matching. Applications are due
October 26th.
