The next Future BNC Meeting will be this
Thursday, 4/18 @ 12pm (lunch provided) in BRK 2001.
Ken Sandel, Senior Director Sponsored Program Services; Laura Gray, J.D. Lead Analyst, Strategic Contracts Group and Bryan Scott, Pre-Award Center Manager will present work-for-hire, industrial contracting models
which are flexible in meeting faculty’s needs when working with industrial partners for the first half then the remainder will be open for questions and high-level discussion of collaboration opportunities that can lead to future center of excellence and/or
also brainstorm about a shared vision for Birck.
This program will present the details of budgeting (F&A rates and IP Fees) and additional approvals required prior to formally submitting proposals. Correspondingly, we will review common contractual issues
such as IP and publication review or restriction that are common within these models.
