Landscaping Work to Begin near BRK
Birck Nanotechnology Center Users - As part of the ongoing landscaping project, work will begin next week (April 8, 2013) on the area in front of the northeast portion of the building. Early work will involve some excavation which could cause vibration in highly sensitive laboratories. The hours of work will be from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the work is expected to last approximately two weeks. The curved sidewalk to the northeast of the front door will be closed, but the main sidewalk and bike path will remain open. The sidewalk to the east of the east stairwell will also be closed, but the sidewalk between BRK and BIND will remain open. As in any outdoor project, the work is weather dependent. In event of rain, the project may extend beyond the expected completion date. Thank you for your understanding during this project. John Weaver John R.
