Beginning Thursday, May 7, contractors will begin the demolition of the dock at Bindley as part of the construction project. This will involve the use of a backhoe-mounted jackhammer causing significant vibration in the area of the dock. This is some distance from the BNC, but it is not known if any appreciable vibration will be experienced in the BNC. If you are doing vibration-sensitive work, especially in the east end of the BNC, please be aware that there is a possibility of acoustical noise and other vibration.
