All BNC Users:

 

The semiannual shutdown of the BNC will take place Tuesday through Thursday, May 5-7, 2009.

 

The CLEANROOM will be closed at midnight Tuesday morning.  If all goes well, it will reopen at 5:00 PM Wednesday afternoon.  If issues arise, it may be closed for some or all of Thursday, May 7.  Please remove all material from fume hoods prior to the cleanroom closing.

 

The LABORATORIES will be closed at midnight Thursday morning.  If all goes well, it will reopen at 5:00 PM Thursday.  Again, if issues arise the closure may be extended.  Please remove all material from fume hoods prior to the laboratories closing.

 

Additionally, the building will be COLD on Wednesday, May 6.  Even if it is warm outside, the building will be cold.  Please dress appropriately.  This is due to a steam shutdown by Purdue University Physical Facilities.

 

The startup times for the cleanroom and laboratories apply to the facility, not necessarily the equipment.  Please check Coral for equipment downtime and startup times.
