                Please check the following and make sure you are wearing safety glasses, lab coats etc. as required:

Building wide OSHA Safety Inspection

• Dispose of all used nitrile gloves.
• Check for either extension cord (not to be used) or daisy chained power strips.
• All chemicals/ samples must be labeled. If abbreviations are used a master list must be posted.
• Remove sharps containers, chemical bottles etc. that block air flow inside chemical fume hoods.
• Do not store any items on top of flammable storage cabinets.
• Check that demarcated area on floor around electrical boxes are not blocked.
• Check for hanging PPE or other items from compress gas cylinders, fume hood valves and/or other controls.
