All, You may have noticed an odor this afternoon in the Birck Atrium and in the hallways adjacent to the atrium. The odor is due to grinding activities taking place on the third floor as part of the east wing exhaust upgrade project. Unfortunately, the high winds and the wind direction are causing the smell to be drawn back into the building. This is temporary and should dissipate over the next hour or so. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Regards, Jeff Kuhn Facility Engineer Birck Nanotechnology Center Purdue University 1205 W.
