All BNC Users: The Birck Nanotechnology Center semiannual Preventive Maintenance shutdown will take place during the week of October 10, 2011. Cleanroom and Laboratories operations will be affected during the week. Sunday, 9 October 2011 Remove chemicals and hazardous materials from all hoods by 11:30PM Monday, 10 October 2011 Cleanroom and Labs closed beginning 7:00 AM No work involving exhausted hoods, biosafety cabinets or enclosures, vacuum systems, and/or toxic gas systems can be performed. The Ultrapure water system and most processing equipment will be taken off line for extended maintenance.
