Angshuman Deka - New Research Scientist
Dear Birck community, Please welcome Angshuman Deka, Ph.D. as the newest member of the research scientist team at Birck! He joined us at the start of January and will be primarily in charge of electrical probing (labs 2043 and 2037, tools previously in "J Bay"). He will share the office BRK 1014 with his fellow research scientists Dima Zemlyanov and Neil Dilley (Neil recently stepped into the role of Research Manager overseeing this group). Angshuman completed his Ph.D. at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, and subsequently worked as a post-doc at Birck Nanotechnology Center, Purdue University. During this time, he has worked on magnetic device fabrication, magnetization dynamics, and spintronic phenomena. Currently, he serves as a member of the Editorial Review Board of IEEE Magnetics Letters. Apart from research, he enjoys roasting coffee and going on hikes!
