West Parking Lot closed June 3rd HV shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd (PVIL Only). This will be a 6-10 hour shut down and three crews and is including shut down of the West and South Nano Tech parking lots (towing enforced on Saturday 5-27-17). [cid:image001.png@01D2D91B.0BD97230] NOTICE: Shutdown of the West Wing Laboratories - Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM This is a short notice shutdown of the west lab wing chemical exhaust system. One of the two exhaust fans that supply laboratory chemical exhaust for the west laboratory wing has a failing bearing that needs to be replaced as soon as possible. We plan to do this work on Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All west wing 1st & 2nd floor laboratories activities that involve exhausted hoods, vacuum systems, and/or toxic gas systems will be down during this time. However, work that involves taking standard electrical measurements may be carried out in the laboratories provided that fluctuating air temperature and humidity do not affect the readings. No chemical work will be allowed during this period. The west lab wing chemical exhaust shutdown will not affect the cleanroom or east wing laboratories those areas will remain operational during this shutdown. These hallways will be closed from 5:00AM to 9:00AM. June 7th Wednesday - The front door and front office hallway on the first floor east side. This includes BRK 1001, 1027, 1027A, 1027B, 1027C, 1025, 1024, 1023, 1022, 1021, 1019, 10174, 1015, 1014, 1012, 1010, and 1008. June 12th Monday - The west front door and first floor front office hallway west side. This includes BRK 1287, 1287A, 1287B, 1287C, 1289, 1290, 1292, 1293, 1297, and 1299. June 14th Wednesday - The front part of the Atrium. You will be able to come through the front door, but you will need to use the side hallways to get to the stairs. SURF Students 13 of the 15 open desks in the hallways behind the atrium are reserved for summer SURF students until August 4t, 2017.
