EE & MSEE Building closure Holiday Closings Mileage Rates EE & MSEE Building closure EE and MSEE Building Occupants, We have finalized the dates for the Electrical Shutdown for the entire EE and MSEE Buildings. The electrical shutdown is part of a campus wide metering initiative, electrical meters are being installed on the building utilities for all campus buildings. They have installed these meters in about 100 campus buildings so far. During the times listed below, for safety reasons no one will be allowed to enter the building. EE Building will be down on Monday, 12/29/14 starting at 5:30pm for about 4 hours. MSEE Building will be down on Saturday, 1/10/15 starting at 8:00am for about 4 hours. Holiday Closings Purdue University will be closing at noon on December 31st. The University will also be closed January 1st & 2nd in observance of the new year. Many staff members will be on vacation at various times over the holidays, please plan accordingly. Mileage Rates The IRS recently announced new standard mileage rates when using a personal vehicle for business reasons. The rates are based on the fixed and variable costs of operating a vehicle. Mileage Rate Change for Travel on or after January 1, 2015 Effective for travel on or after January 1, 2015, the privately owned vehicle mileage rate will change from 56 cents per mile to 57.5 cents per mile.
