Dear Colleagues at Birck, I wanted to take this opportunity to announce the promotion of Dr. Aamer Mahmood to the position of Sr. Process Scientist, effective March 1. Aamer has been performing processing research and services for many years, starting with his PhD work on MEMS devices, to post-doc research here at Purdue, to becoming a permanent member of the Birck Engineering Staff. He is highly sought after for his process expertise by researchers both internal and external to Purdue. He has successfully developed devices and processes for a wide variety of users, and he is presently collaborating on several projects, including nanoprobe array research with the IU School of Medicine.
