As of 6:00 am today, Thursday 1 Feb 07, the building systems have been restored. Working through the night, Purdue Physical Facilities have brought back functionality to the primary chilled water loop, affecting the process cooling water at Birck. That system is now functional, so the building is restored to its pre-power-outage condition. The cleanroom is now open and chemical processing in hoods can be performed. Thank you for your cooperation and patience through this event. John Weaver John R. Weaver Facility Manager Birck Nanotechnology Center Purdue University (765) 494-5494 jrweaver@purdue.edu
