We have begun focusing on some of our fall events, and would like to reach out to you on behalf of our Cancer Culture and Community program. This amazing program started in 2007 and explores our response to cancer expressed through the arts and literature. This is truly a unique program that blends science and the arts! In anticipation of a visit this fall to Purdue University by graphic novelist Harvey Pekar and illustrator Frank Stack, of Our Cancer Year , we are looking for cancer stories. These stories will be compiled and sent to local graphic artists to create our own , Our Cancer Year . This will be on display November 4 in the Purdue Memorial Union, Rm 118.
