The OSA (Optical Society of America) Purdue Student Chapter joins the world in celebrating the Photonics Day on Date: Tuesday October 21 Venue: Birck 1001 Time: Noon-1PM There will be short presentations, demos, quiz and prizes. Lunch will also be provided by OSA Student Chapter. On this day in 1983, the speed of light was universally adopted as 299,792,458 m/s by the General Conference of Weights and Measures.
