SHUTDOWN OF HAZARDOUS GASES IN BNC

Because of issues with the notification system for toxic gas monitoring, all hazardous gases in BNC are shut down. You will be notified when the problem is resolved and the gases will be started up. Fire Equipment Services are working on the issue. If they cannot resolve the issue by 5:00 PM, the building will be closed until either 8:00 AM Friday or the problem is resolved, whichever occurs first. The gases involved include all hazardous specialty gases (those located in the gas rooms and pyrophoric bunker), hydrogen, and oxygen. Thank you for your patience. John John R.
