After reviewing the installation of the new High Voltage (HV) line installed by PRF for PVIL, Purdue expressed concerns with the sag of the HV line on the southwest corner of Birck.

After Purdue discussed our concerns with PRF and the contractor, they proposed a few options, with the best being the addition of a pole to raise the HV lines to approximately the same height of the existing HV lines, and reduce the sag.  This requires another shutdown of PVIL, and will restrict parking adjacent to the area of work for Birck.  The affected parking (in red), and showing the new pole location (solid green arrow).

I will be scheduling the HV shutdown for PVIL north on 9/9/17, starting at 8:00am, with completion by 2:00pm on 9/9/17. Like the previous shutdowns, this will be weather dependent work.
