Hoods

A high level of clutter and disorder was observed in every fume hood in the cleanroom by engineering staff members this morning. Chemical bottles were not put away and experiments were not labeled properly. Subsequent users of the fume hoods will need to clean up after the previous user. Please remember that this is a multi-user facility and leave every hood, every process tool, and every instrument in a good useable condition for the next user. Your cooperation expected and appreciated.

Translating research into tangible products -designed for PhD students and faculty

Life of a Faculty Entrepreneur: Discovery, Development & Translation

This course is designed to introduce PhD students and faculty mentors to the intellectual, financial and management processes associated with translating research into tangible products through university initiated, early stage commercialization. Guest speakers will illustrate the startup process through case studies and also address approaches for managing entrepreneurial activities, intellectual property and conflicts of interest in a University environment.

W-2 Services

Purdue University is pleased to announce online / paperless W-2 Form services for all Purdue University faculty and staff. This includes student employees.

Via partnership with ADP, Inc., all Purdue employees are now able to view and print their W-2 Form via the online ADP W-2 Services portal. ADP, Inc. is a trusted and data security-focused provider of HR, payroll, talent, time, tax, and benefits administration, serving hundreds of thousands of organizations over ADP’s 65 year history. By providing online W-2 services, Purdue University aims to reduce tax season stress by eliminating W-2 Form location uncertainty, address uncertainty, and waiting periods due to mail, University action needed, or lost W-2 Forms. In order to opt in to paperless W-2 Form delivery for the 2014 tax year, employees must register on or prior to December 31, 2014.
