Dear Birck Community,

As many of us know engineering staff, Jerry Shepard, and had closely worked with him in the past years, it is saddening to know that he has continuously been battling brain cancer for several months.  He underwent two surgeries at the Mayo Clinic but his cancer has progressed and he is getting weaker.  The family is looking into Hospice Care for him now, and we're seeking financial help to make this burden easier on Jerry's family.
