RA position at Birck

SEM training and assistance:

The Birck Nanotechnology Center is looking for a Grad student with some electron microscopy knowledge to assist 20 hrs a week with the SEMs at BNC - Hitachi S4800 FESEM and TFS Apreo FESEM  in the clean room.

The responsibilities will be:

1.       Provide SEM analysis services - imaging and EDX chemical analysis - to BNC and industrial  users using both the Hitachi S4800 and TFS Apreo FE-SEM

2.    Manage the reception of samples and analysis instructions from Birck users 

3.       Training new users in both the SEMs Hitachi S-4800 and TFS Apreo

4.    Manage the training and services request for both SEMs in Ilab

4.       Training new users in SPI sputter coater

The candidate will be trained in all these techniques by a staff member.
