Wednesday:      4/5/17, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

 

Thursday:            4/6/17, 8:45 AM – 11:30 AM

                                4/6/17, 11:15 AM – 2:00 PM

 

Friday:                  4/7/17, 8:45 AM – 11:30 AM

4/7/17, 11:15 AM – 2:00 PM

 

Training is mandatory and will be provided in the Birck atrium. The schedule is:

Tuesday:              3/28/17, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Pizza Party)

  6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Training Sessions)

Solvent Hood Use

 

                Please remember that only “Intrinsically safe” hotplate are allowed in solvent hoods.  With the recent fire in a hood this is a major safety concern.

                Also housekeeping is also an issue. Too much “stuff” making it nearly impossible was also a contributing factor to the situation. Any standard hotplate found

                In the hoods will be removed fi they are not “intrinsically safe/ explosion proof.
