The West Laboratory Wing (1200-series laboratories) will be
shut down on Thursday, 18 October 2007, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the repair
of a chemical-exhaust fan. All hoods, both acid and solvent, will be
closed during the shutdown. It is critical that all chemicals be covered
or removed from the hoods no later than 8:00 AM Thursday morning. No
operations may take place in the hoods during that time.

maintenance activity.
