We have had our first confirmed case of H1N1 at Birck. It was just a matter of time but taking this into consideration please be mindful and take precaution:

• Wash hands often to reduce the risk of spreading
• Use the hand sanitizer if available
• If you have flu like symptoms please stay home
• If someone around you is sick try to minimize exposure potential

Currently cases have followed the usually flu like symptoms and thus treatment is classic: Get plenty of rest, drink plenty of fluids and if a prolonged fever occurs see a physician.  If you have any questions please contact Stephen Jurss  BNC Safety Manager at (68337)
