Tomorrow, Oct. 4th, I will start a desk audit of all student/post doc desks in Birck. As most of you know, we are space limited and have a waiting list for desk space. Due to this I am performing a desk audit to make sure we do not have any desks marked as occupied that are really not.
Tomorrow all student/post doc desks (the list of rooms are below) will receive a card on their desk asking for the following information: Room Number, Desk Number, Name, Expected Date of Graduation/leaving Birck, Advisor/Supervisor and Email. These cards are to be turned into either Mary Jo Totten (BRK 1220) or myself, Jaime Turner (BRK 1027) by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2012 (end of the day). IF YOU DO NOT TURN YOUR CARD IN, IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT DESK IS EMPTY AND WILL BE REASSIGNED IMMEDIATELY. If you are currently out of town and will not be here to turn in your card, please email me at jjturner@purdue.edu with your room number, desk number, name, expected date of graduation/leaving Birck, Advisor/Supervisor and Email BY OCTOBER 19TH, 2012 (end of the day).

I cannot stress enough the importance of this, as if you do not turn in your cards (or email if you are on travel) then your desk will be reassigned.
