Greetings all, this week at Fab Forum we’ll be having a two part etch discussion. BNC Researcher Engineer Francis Manfred will be giving an overview of current etch tools at Birck and the new Plasma-Therm Apex SLR ICP RIE. Then, Research Scientist Neil Dilley will giving an update on the AJA Ion Mill. Equipment and administrative updates will precede; open discussion and questions will follow.

Fab Forum is held Tuesday at 3 PM in the BNC atrium, and allows BNC researchers a place to discuss their current problems, concerns, or successes with sample fabrication, characterization, or equipment use. The Fall 2019 talk schedule can be viewed here.
