community, and critical safety information. KUDOS! William J. Rowe, an engineering staff member here at Birck, was named a Distinguished Hoosier by Gov. Mitch Daniels for his 39 years of service with the Indiana National Guard. Rowe, a sergeant first class in the National Guard, received the Distinguished Hoosier Award at a concert and retirement ceremony in his honor in November. Rowe, who joined Birck as the e-beam lithography process and equipment owner in 2007, has 29 years of experience in the nanofabrication industry with Delco Electronics and DuPont Photomasks, Inc. (CTSI) is seeking applicants for special pre-doctoral training awards
in translational research. Translational research consists of either
“T1 research” (interface of basic science to human studies) or “T2
research” (interface of human studies to the community). Funding is
available for pre-doctoral graduate students. See attached document
for more information.
