This upgrade is essential for the co ntinued operation and modernization of our facilities.\n\nWhile this prese nts a significant opportunity for Birck\, it also means that the complexit y of the project will temporarily disrupt certain research programs and pr ojects\, especially those requiring frequent cleanroom access. We are co mmitted to minimizing the impact on research by conducting construction in phases and maintaining certain capabilities in each core to allow for ong oing projects. Each phase has a unique construction schedule\, so we have scheduled a 2-hour meeting for March 12\, 2024\, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to go through the details of the plans. The meeting will be available b oth in person in BRK_1001 and virtually (Zoom: https://purdue-edu.zoom.us/ j/96121685340). A calendar invite will be sent shortly.\n\nDue to the complexity of this project\, we have asked Purdue University Physical Facilities Management and Pepper Construc tion to join the meeting and answer any detailed questions you may have.\n This meeting is crucial for those affected by the anticipated 12-18 months of research interruptions at the Birck Center. Additional follow-up mee tings will be planned as needed.\n\nProactively we are completing early te sting of cleanroom operations in preparation for the spring 2024 Preventat ive Maintenance cycle.
