With the heavy
rains today the same issue has returned with water in the same fire panel.
The building has been posted Purdue Fire Safety Services.
Please note below
the same conditions apply today and tomorrow.

Subject: [Bnc-facility-notice] IMPORTANT! Fire Alarm System Issue
NOTE: The fire alarm strobe
lights and alarm tones/voices on the west end of the building, first floor, are
currently not functional. Fire Equipment Services are working to correct
the problem. In the mean time, please be alert for alarms elsewhere in
the building and follow the instructions given.
The toxic gas monitoring system is
fully functional. The alarm tones and lights in the west end of the first
floor are not functioning. Pull stations and smoke detectors on the first
floor in the west end of the building are also not functioning. In an
emergency, please use a pull station in other portions of the building or call
911.
