Dear All Birck Users,

The issue with the UltraPure Water system was determined to be data communication errors between the control panels of the UPW electronics.  We believe this issue has been resolved by fixing an ethernet cable, and the UPW system has been stable all morning.  Additionally, the cleanroom humidity has also stabilized at normal levels.

Our UPW supply and cleanroom humidity have returned to stable levels and normal research may resume.  Thank you for your patience.

UPW Facility Issue

Dear Birck Users:

The UltraPure Water system has experienced a fault and the system is down at this time.  Engineering and facility staff members are working on the problem but users should know that, in addition to cleanroom humidification being out of control, no UPW water is available for processing.  We will keep you updated as progress is made to restore the UPW system.

Good Evening,

We are experiencing problems with the ultrapure water system that feeds our clean steam generator so we will not have humidity control for the cleanroom until this system is fixed. We will continue monitoring the water system and turn the clean steam generator back on when we get confirmation this problem has been fully resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience.
