Greetings all, this week we’ll be discussing BNC 111: The simplification of BNC user training.
Stop by to hear about the proposed combination of BNC 105 and BNC 150, which will be offered online as a Passport badge similar to the all user meeting replacement, BNC 151. The plan is to replace the in-person slide presentation with online slides/quiz
and use the in-person time for a practical demonstration of understanding. Equipment and administrative updates will precede; open discussion and questions will follow.
This week light snacks will be served along with:
Coffee of the week: Bolivian Caranavi, medium-dark roast
Tea of the week: Green tea blend, with lemongrass and spearmint.
Fab Forum is held every Monday at 1 PM in the BNC atrium, and allows BNC researchers a place to discuss their current problems, concerns, or successes with sample fabrication, characterization, or equipment use.
Thanks, we hope to see you there,
Justin
