Dear Birck researchers,

The Optics and Spectroscopy Lab under BRK metrology Core is considering adding a new tool, and we are reaching out to learn about your interests in it as potential user groups. The tool is a ColdEdge confocal imaging setup located in BRK 1273. It is equipped with a closed-cycle liquid helium cryostat (~4K) and superconducting magnets (three-axis vector magnets up to 0.5T on each axis). I'm listing its current and potential capabilities below for your reference:

Current capabilities (~4K sample temperature, or temperature-dependent measurements from 4K up to ~250K)

Potential capabilities (~4K sample temperature, or temperature-dependent measurements from 4K up to ~250K)

If any of the above capabilities of this tool appear to be useful for your research, please let us know. We aim to learn about its potential users as much as possible, which will help us decide our next step. Also, please feel free to forward to any groups/researchers who might find this useful, and reach out to me for more details.

Thank you!
