Dear all, We are hosting a professional development workshop for our undergrad and grad students to help them connect with high-tech industry particularly in areas related to the semiconductor industry. This event is supported by Purdue University and the SEMI Midwest Chapter, and participating high-tech companies. I have attached a flyer here describing the workshop. Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship Awards CHA Evaporator Defense VB-6 Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship Awards Congratulations to Aida Ebrahimi and Nate Kinsey for receiving the 2015 Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship Award. It is awarded to outstanding Ph.D. candidates in their final year of doctoral degree completion. The Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship is highly competitive and recognizes the students' superior academic abilities and scholarly achievements. These periodic maintenance procedures are regularly required in order to provide clean and contamination-free films. It is being released back to research this afternoon. Defense John Watson Growth of low disorder GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures by molecular beam epitaxy for the study of correlated electron phases in two dimensions Monday, March 9th at 4:00 pm in PHYS 242 VB-6 The VB-6 was repaired by replacing two cards in the stage rack. It is being baked out and run up to 100KV, and all indications are that it will be available for research on Sunday after it stabilizes. Thanks for all your patience.
