Short-Term Coral Outage, Dec. 22nd a.m.

Dear All BNC Cleanroom and Lab Users- ECN servers will be offline on Dec 22 from 5:30am-8:30am. This means Coral will be offline during that three-hour time period. Any system enabled prior to the server shutdown will continue to function normally. No new systems can be enabled during the server outage. Please plan accordingly. Thank you, Ron Reger

BNC Fire Panel Testing Friday (12-10-10) at 6:30AM

All Birck Users - This coming Friday (12-10-10) at 6:30AM Purdue's Fire & Safety Services will be conducting a TEST of our fire horns and strobes for about 2 minutes. This test is necessary because of recently added fire monitoring equipment installed in the new acid waste neutralization enclosure. Protocol requires that a building PA announcement is given 10 and 5 minutes prior to the test starting. The building occupancy should be at its lowest point during this time. Holiday Cookie and Dessert Social

Hello Everyone, It is that time of year again that we celebrate. We celebrate the season, the end of another semester, the chance to go home and let our Mom and Dad spoil us, and sleeping in. Before you take off for vacation, we would like to celebrate as a Birck family for one afternoon. If you would like to join us, we will be getting together Tuesday December 21st from 2-4PM in the Birck Atrium (see attached invitation). We thought it would be fun to share your favorite dessert or cookie with us. We will provide punch and hot apple cider. We look forward to seeing everyone there. Happy Holidays, The Birck Staff
