Birck Nanotechnology Center researchers will be well represented at this
summer's Electronic Materials Conference and Device Research Conference, to
be held back to back at Penn State University, June 22-26. You are invited
to participate in a preview of the BNC presentations. Even if you are
planning to attend EMC/DRC, you will probably miss several Purdue talks and
posters because of scheduling conflicts, so here is your chance. The
presenters also look forward to your feedback.
If you would like to present but have not yet reserved a time slot, please
contact Deborah Starewich <dstarewi(a)purdue.edu>.

*NSAC NEWS*
The Nanotechnology Student Advisory Council (*NSAC*) is comprised of
graduate students and research assistants working at the Birck
Nanotechnology Center in Purdue University. However, membership is not
exclusive and any Purdue student is welcome.
Our goal is to promote collaboration, enhance research awareness, and
facilitate communication among faculty, staff, and students. To meet this
goal, we plan regular social events, host lab open houses, and collaborate
with the staff to organize the Equipment & Process Expert (Super-User)
Program. We also have student volunteers that serve on the Policies and
Procedures Committee for BNC. Please feel free to *visit the

It
has come to our attention that skateboarders are damaging/marring the
cement walls and benches around the new fountain area in Discovery
Park. Most of their activity occurs after regular work hours or on
weekends.
If you see skateboarders misusing the area, please do not confront them. Please contact the Purdue Police at 48221 and let them handle the situation.
