In an effort to serve the BNC community, we are pleased to announce wirebonding service. Gail Lockwood from physics will accept samples in BRK 2261, Monday and Thursday afternoons from 12:00-3:00pm. Please have diagrams indicating bond locations ready. The fee is $28 per hour with a 1 hour minimum charge. We are adding this service to make sure that high quality wirebonding is available to all with minimal downtime due to repairs. Effective immediately, all user authorization on the wirebonders is revoked. Thanks, John

NDC/BNTP SEMINAR series - Starts next week !

Hello... I am pleased to inform that the NDC/BNTP seminar series will commence starting next week. The first seminar will be presented by Dr. Markus Lill (Dept of Medicinal Chem and Pharmacology) on Feb 7 (Wed at 3:30PM) in Burton Morgan room 121. Please make it if you can and pass it along to your students. Building Systems restored

As of 6:00 am today, Thursday 1 Feb 07, the building systems have been restored. Working through the night, Purdue Physical Facilities have brought back functionality to the primary chilled water loop, affecting the process cooling water at Birck. That system is now functional, so the building is restored to its pre-power-outage condition. The cleanroom is now open and chemical processing in hoods can be performed.
