This program has many excellent BME-focused honors undergraduates interested in research and are looking for BME graduate students to enroll in this course next fall which provides both hands on experience as mentors in their research labs and community of practice for the graduate mentors. --------------------------- The John Martinson Honors College (JMHC) is inviting graduate students in STEM fields to apply for the Future Mentors Program for Fall 2025. This program provides a unique opportunity for graduate students-particularly doctoral candidates aspiring to academic careers-to gain hands-on mentoring experience while receiving formal training in research mentorship. In the fall, participants will enroll in HONR 59901, a seminar that equips them with evidence-based mentorship skills. Additionally, each graduate mentor will be paired with up to two Honors College undergraduate students who will assist with the mentor's research project, offering practical mentorship experience.
