Fw: New PhD Program in Health Sciences Engineering
[image001.png] We are pleased to introduce a new joint PhD program in Health Sciences Engineering offered by RPI and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Based at the Joint Center for Engineering and Precision Medicine in Manhattan, this program focuses on Reparative/Regenerative Medicine, Immuno-engineering, and Neuro-engineering. The program features a first-year engineering immersion, entrepreneurship training and clinical shadowing. This approach fosters a “translational mindset,” equipping students to develop innovative technologies for clinical needs. Additional components include hands-on internships, grand rounds, and health hackathons. We invite you to take a closer look at the new program, which includes a choice of over 60 highly successful PhD mentors and co-mentors<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Ficahn.mssm.edu%2Feducation%2Fphd%2Fhealth-sciences-engineering&data=05%7C02%7Cbmegradstudents-list%40ecn.purdue.edu%7C483683ce9d3d4d2e0c6408dd21300b7b%7C4130bd397c53419cb1e58758d6d63f21%7C0%7C0%7C638703212409267185%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=BEId1k%2F4z8U5oyn%2BPpTMQ1jI%2B3R7d%2B2ZhwRD8WiF9BI%3D&reserved=0>.
