(Sent to BME faculty, staff and graduate students on behalf of Nan Kong) Dear BME Colleagues, The Faculty Senate Steering Committee has invited Senior Director of Benefits Candace Shaffer to speak with the Senate at its 12 September meeting. She has been asked to update the Senate on major changes to faculty, staff, and graduate student benefits, and--to the extent possible--on what the Purdue community should expect once SB 1 goes into effect on September 15. The Steering committee would like to know whether there are other pressing areas of inquiry that she might address. On behalf of our BME, I will compile the questions on a form, which should be submitted to University Senate by this Friday, September 2.
