Hi all,

The new departmental LN2 cryofreezer for cell storage (MJIS 3054B) is ready, so we would like to begin moving boxes from temporary storage this week. Moving forward, each lab that requires space will be assigned a tower so that materials can be more easily tracked. We also request that each lab regularly updates their inventory logs so that we are not taking up unnecessary space. Extra boxes are available next to the cryofreezer for your convenience. 

Please contact Rachel Morrison (morri107@purdue.edu) before moving samples so that we can assign towers and walk through best practices. Any samples not claimed by Wednesday 6/19/2024 will be discarded. Please reach out to Rachel Morrison or Susan Hardy with questions or concerns.
