In the past decade, genomics and precision health approaches such as big data science and machine learning have emerged as important tools for public health. Those entering the public health and medical workforces must keep pace with these evolving fields to maximize the benefit to public health.

Recognizing this need, the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is partnering with the Office of Genomics and Precision Public Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to offer a two-day enrichment event covering the latest developments in these fields.
