Data Management Course From Grad School

I will be offering a new course in fall 2023 focusing on data management and record keeping. It will be a one credit seminar course focusing on the rapidly evolving data management requirements of NIH and NSF as well as strategies and tactics used by researchers from across the university. It will be offered on Fridays, from 9:30-11:20 for the first 8 weeks in the fall. The syllabus is attached.

PurSysT Research Colloquium #5 Spring 2023

Purdue Systems Thinkers (PurSysT) would like to invite you to our fifth Research Colloquium this Thursday, April 6th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm (EST). This meeting will be hybrid in nature with the details below and on the flyer (attached in-text). Our speakers will be Giulia Murbach de Oliviera and Adam Mitrevski, fourth-year graduate students of the department of Chemistry here in Purdue. 

 

They will be delivering on the topic: Systems Thinking in Drug Development. Giulia's half of the talk will present a systems approach towards integrating chemistry and engineering tools, next-generation drug manufacturing and distribution systems towards greater process efficiencies and improved environmental outcomes. The other half of the talk will be delivered by Adam, where he will be presenting a systems approach toward the computational design and synthesis of a dual HIV/HDAC inhibitor capable of reversing HIV latency and preventing new infection.
